Accelerated Reader
Students read a book and then take a short comprehension test on the computer. They earn points depending on how hard the book is and how many questions they answered correctly. They must score at least 60% to earn any points on a book. Books in the library that have an orange sticker on them are AR books.

Goals Per Semester:

K - 5 points
1st grade - 10 points
2nd grade - 20 points
3rd grade - 30 points
4th grade - 40 points
5th grade - 50 points

Parents and students may go to http://www.arbookfind.com to find out if a book is AR> Parents can log in at https://Hosted51.renlearn.com/48836/HomeConnect and us their child's login password to find out how many points their child has earned and can sign up to receive an email each time their child takes a test. The student's login is their student ID number and their password is the month and day of their birthday.
