Box Tops for Education (from General Mills), allows you to earn cash for your child’s school by clipping Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating products.

A parent on 2012-10-17 described the program at Sagamore Hills Elementary School:

The PTA has emailed several times about the contest going on currently to see which class can collect the most. we have sent in a bunch. some parents have no idea what these are so i thought i would explain a little more about them.

on many products there are little rectangular "badges" that say "boxtop for education" with an expiration date on it. for each one we turn in, the school gets 10 cents ($.10) cash money - like Campbell's soup labels when we were younger. i have found them on a bizarre group of products, but wanted to let you know some places you can look for them: yoplait yogurt, betty crocker products, scott paper products, green giant canned goods (multi-packs), general mills cereals, totinos pizza. i also bought a box of paper from officemax, and each pack of paper in the box had a boxtop on the label. anyway, i thought this might help those who have no idea where to look for them. happy hunting!
